I am a horse poem

I am a horse🐴

I am a horse that gallops around wildly

I wonder what it would be like if I wasn’t caged in the stables

I hear wolves howling through the night

I see lions in action ready to pounce

I want to be wild and free

I am a kaimanawa horse

I pretend to be free even though I’m now in the a stable

I feel lonely that none of the other horses are like me

I touch my mum in hope

I cry every now and then

I worry about my herd every day

I am owned by people who don’t take care of me

I understand that my herd miss me

I say that I will come home

I dream to be free

I try to escape every night

I hope I can help horses in danger

I am a kaimanawa horse who wishes to be free
